Terms of Use

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of the Steel City Gameday app, website, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must permit your use. You may use the Service only in compliance with applicable law.

Your account and Crews

You are responsible for activity through your account, keeping access to your Apple Account secure, and inviting only people you intend to include in a Crew. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, scrape the Service, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, or use it to violate another person’s rights.

Community Rules and zero tolerance for abuse

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, transmit, or encourage content or conduct that:

• harasses, threatens, bullies, stalks, exploits, or promotes violence against a person or group;
• is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, unlawfully violent, illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or invasive of privacy;
• contains spam, malicious code, scams, unauthorized advertising, or another person’s confidential information;
• infringes copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other rights; or
• attempts to evade our safety filters or helps another person violate these rules.

The app applies automated content safeguards. Members can report a message by pressing and holding it and can block another user so that user’s messages are hidden immediately. We may review reports and related content; remove or restrict content; warn, suspend, or terminate accounts; preserve evidence; and contact appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary. We aim to address credible safety reports promptly, but do not guarantee a specific response time. For urgent danger, contact local emergency services.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, adapt for technical formatting, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and enforce the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except for limited backup, legal, safety, and enforcement copies.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it complies with these Terms. Crew content is shared with the members of that Crew, so only post what you are comfortable sharing with them.

2026 Season Pass

The first five played games are available without a pass. The individual 2026 Season Pass is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the paid 2026 season features described on the purchase screen. It is not a subscription and does not automatically renew. Crew chat remains available without the pass.

• Apple processes payment and displays the price and any applicable tax before you confirm.
• Purchases are associated with your Apple Account and can be restored from Settings using Restore Purchases.
• Refund requests and billing disputes are handled by Apple under App Store rules.
• Deleting your Steel City Gameday account does not erase Apple’s purchase record. You may restore an eligible purchase after signing in again.

Except where required by law or App Store policy, purchases are final. We may modify the Service, but we will not knowingly misrepresent the access included with a purchased pass.

Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account from Settings. We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe an account violates these Terms, creates risk or legal exposure, or threatens users or the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, and dispute terms—remain effective after termination.

No wagering

Predictions, points, standings, and receipts are for entertainment and friendly competition. The Service does not offer gambling, an entry fee, cash-out, or a prize of monetary value. Do not use the Service to organize unlawful wagering.

Third-party services and intellectual property

The Service may link to third-party news, websites, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app and is incorporated here; mandatory App Store terms control if there is a conflict.

The Service’s software, design, and original branding belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, sell, or redistribute them except as law permits. Steel City Gameday is an independent, unofficial fan experience and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, the NFL, or their affiliates. Team and league names may be used only to identify the subject of fan discussion; all third-party marks belong to their owners.

Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Scores, schedules, news, statistics, predictions, and other information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate and should not be relied on for wagering or other consequential decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steel City Gameday and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, profits, or use arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us through the App Store during the 12 months before the claim or US $50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date; continued use after they take effect means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
